Guess who’s back (back again)..
Honestly, this was completely unplanned, but I just have so much fun making mini lookbooks, plus I purchased a few new items since the seasons are changing on us once again!
SO, I’ll start off with some serious halloween vibes, this Lazy Oaf x Casper Sweater dress!
It’s from one of Lazy Oaf’s older collections (2015 I think?) but recently when I was hunting through Depop (as I usually do) I found a lovely seller named ‘KennyDaGal’ who lives in Hong Kong. I believe she had a shop that used to sell Lazy Oaf, so she has a few hundred brand new pieces that have just been sitting in the packaging, which she has now listed on Depop. I think I brought the very last one of these Casper dresses, but I’m so glad I got one as its such a beautiful design, super soft and has pockets (how convenient!).
I paired it with some old chunky shoes from Topshop (I’ve worn these so much on here, but they are so cool and comfy!) a cute black hair bow, some black tights and this adorable bag!
The bag, you may or not notice, is a knock off Prada bag!
I fell in love with this Prada bag when I saw Marzia had one over on Youtube. To me, it looks like such a magical bag, but I feel like there is no shame in saying, me, as a student working part time, isn’t going to be able to afford a £2000+ hangbag! So this was another beautiful find on depop, from the Brand ‘Rum and Coke’! I think it was £40, but it was packaged wonderfully, and it feels and looks so expensive to me. I definitely get some magical witchy vibes from it.
Now onto the next look! Something a little out of my comfort zone, but I think looks pretty sweet!
I recently hopped on a train to Nottingham as part of a birthday treat to do a little bit of shopping with my best friend! I’ve been noticing a LOT of Faux Leather appearing in shops, from jackets to trousers. It’s not something I imagined myself having an interest in, but then I saw this item!
This is a Faux Leather skirt I brought from Topshop! When I tried it on I thought it looked seriously cool! I had to size down to a 6 (I’m always an 8 on the bottom) so it runs a little large, but I really like the look of it, especially those buckles… Its not something I’d normally go for (I’m not very rock and roll haha) but I really love it and sometimes its nice to try something completely different! I think it pairing it with something a little more girly, which is this pastel pink jumper from Boohoo, helps to tone it down a little and make it more wearable for me.
I might wear it to a concert I’m going to soon too!
So, for the next look, I’m going to kick it back to yet another Lazy Oaf piece! Honestly, their recent collection for Autumn was absolutely amazing, the most perfectly cute and pastel clothes, it was hard for me not to buy everything!
Lets be honest, this Bunny Jumper couldn’t be more adorable! As soon as I saw it a few months back as a sneak peak I knew I needed it… That pastel pink mixed with the lilac, and that cute furry bunny patch is just perfect..
It’s so comfy and warm too! I paired it with a matching beret (that I made!).
And this adorable ‘I Don’t Care’ black heart bag, also from Lazy Oaf a few collections back.
Lastly, something less out there and a bit more simple, this more Autumn outfit.
I think Midi skirts are very beautiful and so comfy, and this one is super flowy so twirling around in it is hard not to do! I added this scarf from Asos for extra flowyness (new made up word!).
The jumper is from Hollister but last year, though I’m sure it would be easy to find one very similar to it! I actually wore this to my interview for University!
And that’s the four looks I put together! I think they are all very different from each other, so hopefully there is something you like!
Hopefully I’ll be back with another blog post sometime soon. I have so many things I want to post about, but sometimes its so hard to sit down and make the time for some writing!
Thank you so much for reading! – Ellie
